Greenhouse Treatment Center is a luxury residential addiction treatment center in Grand Prairie, Texas. They offer medical detox, medicated assisted treatment, inpatient care and outpatient services. As part of their substance abuse programs you can receive trauma informed care, AA and NA based care, family and group therapy, and proven addiction therapies. They’ve also got specialized programs for young adults, Christians, veterans, first responders, impaired professionals, those part of the LGBTQ+ community and those living with chronic mental health conditions. They are a fully bilingual center and have Spanish staff onsite at all times.

Something unique about Greenhouse Treatment Center is that they offer biosound therapy. This includes sitting in a vibrating chair while listening to music, going through guided imagery, or going through biofeedback therapy to find deep relaxation. This helps to soothe your nervous system and reduce anxiety levels. This sense of calm can make it easier for you to follow the medical advice you get during treatment and avoid relapse.

One of the best things about Greenhouse Treatment Center is their facilities. The location used to be a spa and they prioritized maintaining its feeling of tranquility when repurposing the space. You’ll stay in a hotel like bedroom with a private bathroom, and you’ll have access to three meals a day prepared by the in-house chef. They’ve carefully designed several gathering areas for group sessions. Each one facilitates community building and safe vulnerability.

In between treatment sessions you can relax or swim in their indoor or outdoor pools, meditate in one of the mindfulness spaces, or grab a delicious snack from the cafeteria. They also have wellness activities like yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, and a private gym for you to use.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

12-Step

12 step programs such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous are support group style programs for individuals who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorder. At Evoke they use a holistic model of addiction care that includes using 12 step programs. These programs are an integral part of most relapse prevention plans and provide continued support and accountability that support sobriety.

Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Medically Assisted Detox

The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Adult Program

Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use.
