Greenleaf Behavioral Health Hospital is a comprehensive and multilevel rehab in Valdosta, Georgia. It’s actually a mental health and behavioral health hospital, too, in addition to being a rehab. That makes it especially helpful for people who have a dual diagnosis, which means they have both addiction and another mental health diagnosis.
When I say that this facility is comprehensive, that’s no exaggeration. They have inpatient programs along with intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. They offer outpatient treatment, too, with group therapy. So no matter where you are in your recovery they have the level of care you need.
This rehab also serves a wide range of people. They have programs for adults and for adolescents ages 12-17. They even have an inpatient program for kids ages 5-11.
One aspect of this rehab that I thought was notable was that they have separate units for substance abuse versus mental health. That way you know you’ll be with peers who are going through similar journeys. I also think it’s great that they accept walk-ins here so you can get the help you need right away and don’t have to get a referral.
