About Griffith Centers Foster Care – Colorado Springs
Griffith Centers for Children is a residential treatment program in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Adolescent males aged 12 to 20 can live in treatment and receive care for mental health and substance abuse. You’ll benefit from comprehensive care and resources during and after treatment.
They provide a structured environment for youth to focus on recovery. Their program targets youth struggling with one or more challenges, including abuse, trauma, neglect, emotional conditions, reunification, education recovery, or criminal behavior. You’ll work with a case manager who will support you throughout treatment and ensure your treatment plan is appropriate.
One thing I like about this facility is they prioritize family reintegration. Strengthening the family unit can be essential in recovery, especially for younger people. You’ll benefit from two to four hours of family therapy to work through past issues and rebuild relationships.
It’s also wonderful how you can work towards your educational goals while completing treatment. They provide an on campus school and a GED program. That way you can develop vital skills to get your life back on track. They also connect you with ongoing treatment and follow up with you for six months after completing the program.
