The Crisis Stabilization Center at Hampton Newport News serves adults age 18 to 64 in Hampton, Virginia. This is a residential program that helps you overcome an acute psychiatric crisis. You may experience this issue as the result of an addiction, mental health condtion or both.
This unit has 11 beds and is designed for short term stabilization. Here, you can also access an ambulatory detox program that helps you remove harmful substances from your body so you can start to recover. The goal is to give clients an alternative to acute inpatient hospitalization.
You’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team of providers who can offer a wide range of care. Depending on your needs, some of the services you may receive during yoru stay include psychiatric support, nursing care, therapy, psychoeducation and peer recovery support. They take a whole person, comprehensive approach to treatment so all of your care is seamlessly coordinated.
This program operates around the clock at all hours of the day so you can always get the help you need.
