South Eastern family project (SEFP) takes a comprehensive approach to care. They serve both men and women who need support for a drug, alcohol, or substance use dependency. Care is offered in a residential setting and women in particular will have access to specialized programs to meet their unique recovery needs.
All adults will have access to comprehensive residential treatment where they’ll be supported through a range of evidence based practices including counseling and therapy. Your care team will also provide you with medical and psychiatric stability.
South Eastern Family Project is unique in that they also serve pregnant and postpartum women who’re navigating a substance use disorder. The trained staff and medical team provide individualized care tailored to the unique struggles expectant and new mothers face when they are first starting out on their journey to recovery.
Since this project is offered through the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you’ll also have access to a number of other supports within the greater community. This organization accepts coverage from most major insurance providers and may be able to provide you with financial assistance if funds are available.
