About Hannah’s House – Hanford
Champions – Hannah’s House is a nonprofit, community substance abuse treatment center in Hanford, California. They specialize in substance abuse treatment for pregnant women and women with children, including unborn children. They give pregnant women priority for admission.
The center is a licensed residential treatment facility, but they also have outpatient substance abuse disorder treatment. Some of the programs are low intensity, but they also have higher level services for those with a co-occurring disorder. Hannah’s House is committed to helping rebuild families. In helping with this mission, they have childcare services and help coordinate pediatric care for children.
The treatment center also has a jail program, youth programs, and intervention services for youth. Along with substance abuse treatment, there’s recreational therapy, art therapy, and classes on life skills.
You have to have Medi Cal insurance and it has to be active in Kings County to be eligible for the programs. There are also target population eligibility requirements, and you need to meet one of those. Some of the requirements include substance use disorder, severe mental health illness, and homelessness, though that’s not the only way to qualify.
