Through inpatient and outpatient programs, VA NY Harbor Health treats veterans with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, grief, anger, or self-harm. Treatment programming includes individual and group counseling, consultation, evaluation, medication-assisted therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and motivational enhancement therapy. Acamprosate, Disulfiram, and Naltrexone are used to treat alcohol use disorder. Methadone, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, and Naltrexone are used to treat opioid use disorder. Additionally, this location offers transition and care management for returning veterans and housing assistance for homeless veterans.
