Crescendo Chemical Health LLC oversees several treatment centers and sober living homes, including Paul’s Place. Paul’s Place is a small-scale residential addiction treatment program for men aged 18 and older, based in Farmington, Minnesota. This six-bed facility provides an intimate and structured setting in which clients can commit to tackling their addiction and substance abuse issues head on. The program features a highly-trained team including a medical director, drug and alcohol counselors, registered nurses and med techs, as well as consulting psychologists and dieticians.
Abstinence is a key part of the program here, with a foundational element based on the empowering principles of alcoholics anonymous.
Program goals include helping residents develop key transferable life skills, while taking responsibility for their behaviors and relationships, and addressing negative behavioral patterns and thinking.
Treatment offered here is gender-specific and personalized based on individuals’ unique needs and preferences. Family involvement is also key where deemed appropriate. Residents can access a family support program which encourages family members and loved ones to get stuck in and educate themselves on how addiction works.
All residents are expected to take part in 12-step programming, as well as individual and group therapy. Guided by personalized treatment plans, they may engage in assertiveness and cognitive skills work, parenting issues education where relevant, educational and interactive sessions and lectures, as well as medication management from contracted providers. Residents can also access psychological referrals if needed.
Relaxing and therapeutic activities are also provided to help residents wind down between treatments and workshops. Participants will also have access to alumni groups and aftercare support once they complete the residential program.
