The staff takes a team approach to treatment to deliver the best treatment services for each client. Treatment plans are individualized for each client and include care coordination. Services they offer include:
An outpatient program allows clients to live at home and visit the facility on a regular treatment schedule. The outpatient program at Headwaters Counseling is focused on therapy, which follows the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) models. Outpatient programs can be used as a transitional step following patient treatment or as a starting point for those with mild symptoms.
EMDR is a specialized type of therapy believed to promote emotional healing. Using eye movements that mimic rapid eye movement (REM) that occurs during sleep, clients are asked to think of a negative or traumatic memory. EMDR strives to help clients relieve stress and healthily process these memories.
Headwaters Counseling recognizes that people in need don’t always reach out for various reasons. Outreach services deliver social and care services throughout the community in a number of locations to increase ease of access.
