About Heartland Recovery Programs – Men’s Program – La Belle
Heartland Recovery Programs – Men’s Program is a faith-based addiction treatment center for men, located in La Belle, Missouri. The center also provides valuable community resources, mental health services, case management, and community referrals.
Addiction-related services offered at Heartland Recovery Programs – Men’s Program include mental health assessment and counseling, peer support, recovery meetings, spiritual guidance, worship, and a sober Christian community.
Mental Health Assessment and Counseling
These assessments help staff determine if an individual exhibits symptoms of substance use disorder. Based on the assessment, staff can counsel clients on the potential benefits of their faith-based program.
Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Heartland Recovery Programs – Men’s Program provides substance use disorder treatment for individuals struggling with addiction and other behavioral problems. Treatment focuses on developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. Programs rely on Christian-based practices, including worship, Bible study, and fellowship. This 12-month program is available for men over the age of 18.
Skill Development
Each resident participates in skill-development workshops that support their recovery, including mindfulness, relapse prevention, financial management, self-examination, and a Christian worldview education.
Meaningful Work
Program participants are required to work on the Heartland campus and grounds for several hours a day, most days of the week. They are also expected to assist with household chores.
