About Helen Ross McNabb Center: Hamilton County Adult Outpatient Center – Chattanooga
Helen Ross McNabb Center’s Hamilton County Adult Center is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It’s a nonprofit outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse treatment center. They serve adult clients with intensive outpatient programs (IOP), general outpatient programs (OP), and co-occurring disorder treatment. Service fees are reduced for clients who qualify.
You’ll start your treatment here by taking part in a general evaluation. Your providers will want to know what your health is like, how extensive your addiction is, and what other conditions you might be dealing with, such as anxiety or depression. Then, they’ll use those results to create a custom treatment plan just for you. Most plans include a combination of one on one and group based counseling services, along with addiction education and case management.
The IOP alcohol and drug rehab program is a high intensity day treatment program for clients affected by substance abuse. Clients have nine to 12 hours of treatment each week where they meet with their care team and participate in recovery activities. IOP services may include individual and group therapy, education groups, relapse prevention, and case management.
They may also help you connect with other local providers, like healthcare clinics, peer recovery groups, career counselors, and legal experts, to help you continue your recovery even after you stop your counseling sessions.
Clients who have participated in this outpatient program say that the staff members did everything in their power to help them and make sure they had everything they needed. They say both the place and the people are great, and they’re thankful for the support.
