About Hendricks House Group – Vineland Campus – Vineland
Hendricks House Group – Vineland Campus, located in Vineland, New Jersey, is a halfway house for adult men facing drug and alcohol addiction. They treat a variety of addictions and provide additional mental health support for those with a dual diagnosis.
The typical length of stay at the Vineland Campus is between four and six months. You’ll find that the homey residential setting creates an immersive environment and makes it easy to fully engage in recovery away from daily triggers. The residential wing has space for 40 men. The building also consists of a cozy living room, large dining room, a kitchen and several rooms dedicated to recovery meetings. They also have a home gym and rec room for you to use during your free time.
Your treatment program includes several individual, group and family therapy sessions every week, as well as psychoeducation and case management services. You’ll learn about responsible behavior patterns and practice skills that help you maintain employment after treatment. The team also works with you to design a custom discharge plan that helps you stay sober and supported once your stay with Hendricks House is over.
Something special about the Vineland Campus is how much like family it feels. Residents take turns helping out in the kitchen to prepare meals for the group and learn valuable cooking skills. Each night, you’ll eat dinner at a long family-style table with other residents, the staff and the counselors. During dinner, everyone gets the chance to talk about the day’s events, talk about key lessons they’re working through, and sometimes even talk to alumni members about shared experiences.
