High Point Treatment Center in Taunton, Massachusetts, was an outpatient clinic that provided addiction recovery services. It is now closed. The treatments that were available included individual and family therapy and the intensive outpatient program. The facility also offered treatment for gambling addiction.
One of the programs that stood out at this location was the adolescent community reinforcement approach. It was designed to reduce substance use among teens and improve physical and mental health. The facility was less than an hour away from Providence, Rhode Island. In between treatment sessions, clients could take a trip to the town and find unique sober activities they could enjoy. A few places that patients may have visited were the Roger Williams Park and RISD Museum.
