Hillside offers multiple residential behavioral health treatment programs for children aged six to 17 at their 17-acre Pasadena campus. Amenities include an art room, game room, recording studio, gymnasium, private rooms, and around-the-clock care. Residents engage in daily living skill activities, strength-based therapeutic support, academic tutoring, art and music therapy, and group and individual therapy.
The partial hospitalization program allows children to attend treatment on campus all day and return home at night. Treatment six hours per day includes dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness training, developing behavioral skills, enhancing motivation, and effective coping strategies. The intensive outpatient program includes three days a week of part-time treatment. Treatment is highly individualized with individual, group, and family therapy, and skill building.
