The clinic offers primary care as well as some specialty health services, including treatment for substance use and co occurring mental health disorders. VA clinics treat active military, Veterans, and their families. Since the clinic is part of the VA system, they take VA funded insurance plans like TRICARE.

Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is common in military personnel and Veterans and is often co occurring with substance use. The clinic specializes in the treatment of PTSD through support services and evidence based, effective treatments.

Treatment may include counseling with talk therapies, medication, or both. Some Veterans with PTSD may experience homelessness. This clinic offers supportive services to homeless Veterans. They also have transition and care management programs for combat Veterans post 9/11, Operation New Dawn (OND), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).

The substance use treatment services include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational enhancement therapy (MET), contingency management (CM), and motivational interviewing (MI). These therapies help you learn to manage cravings, learn better problem solving skills, and find your motivation for change. If you need medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid or alcohol use disorder, they can prescribe it for you.

This clinic also offers a harm reduction program. Sometimes it takes a while to decide to abstain from drugs or alcohol. In the meantime, you can minimize your risks of overdose or substance use related illnesses through the program. You can get naloxone to have on hand and they’ll teach you and your family members how to use it to reverse an overdose.

If you’re using syringes to inject drugs you’re at increased risk for some infections such as HIV and hepatitis C. Through the syringe services program, you can get sterile needles and dispose of used needles safely. They also have testing and HIV prevention services. They offer vaccinations for hepatitis A and B and curative treatments for hepatitis C. The program helps get you on track to address your substance use issues.

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Military Program

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
