About Hope Center Ministries – White House Men’s Center – White House
Hope Center Ministries – White House Men’s Center, located in Cross Plains, Tennessee, is a Christian based residential treatment center for adult men recovering from alcohol and substance abuse. Their services include individual and group counseling, 12 Step meetings, and family support.
The residential treatment program at White House Men’s Center has three phases, all of them based on Christian healing. Phase one lasts for six weeks and includes 12 Step programming, individual and group counseling, spiritual development, Bible studies, daily reflection, and chores. You’ll have some downtime for recreation and family visits. Phase two lasts for 38 weeks and includes phase one activities, plus training for real world needs, like life skills and career coaching. The last phase lasts for eight weeks and includes all of the above, with some personal phone privileges, vehicle privileges, and financial planning. That way, when you graduate, you’ll have a good foundation for independent living.
This faith based treatment encourages relying on God to overcome defeating behaviors. This usually involves daily time spent in prayer, devotions, or reflection to create a deeper connection and feeling of support.
You’ll also have peer support and some communal activities, like sports. That way, you’ll heal in a group and rely on each other to avoid relapse.
