About Hope Community Services Wellness and Recovery – Oklahoma City
Hope Community Services Wellness and Recovery is an addiction and mental health treatment facility that provides outpatient care and support to individuals, families, and groups. The facility offers adult, youth, and family services throughout Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas with the goal of increasing access to compassionate care and healing the community. This includes offering services in Spanish alongside English.
One amazing thing about this facility is that they offer evaluations for mental distress, trauma related symptoms, and substance use to every client that seeks help at the facility. This is issued regardless of the person’s ability to pay.
The goal of this evaluation is to provide immediate crisis intervention services to avoid crisis escalation, harm to others, and self harming behaviors. The evaluation also seeks to identify the best care plan for the person that would provide the least restrictive care.
Throughout 2023, 1,766 individuals were admitted into the facility’s urgent recovery center, and the team successfully treated over 7,729 individuals. Over 270 individuals and families were supported through the facility’s Community Living Program, which also helped generate over $7 million in funds from HUD.
The facility also facilitated 17 Family Care Plan initiatives in 2023 to prevent DHS involvement and the separation of families.
Hope Community Services Wellness and Recovery has a unique focus on the ongoing opioid crisis. They coordinated with the Oklahoma City Fire Department to develop a response team to combat the rising drug use called the opioid Overdose Recovery Team (ORT). This program provides intervention services and support during active addiction.
It’s also cool that they’re near local attractions to supplement your recovery. Southern Oaks Park isn’t too far away, and the Southern Oaks Library is a bit beyond that.
