Often women who are mothers or who are pregnant have complex substance abuse disorders that affect not only themselves but also their families and the community. At the Hope House – Women and Children’s Program, the team at this New York rehab understands these issues and works alongside women and their families to address them.
At this facility, services are given 24/7 to individual women and those with kids, with the limit being two children up to nine if it is census permitting. Most women in this program receive specialized services, including individual and group therapy and substance abuse education.
After the initial residential program, the women are enrolled in outpatient treatment. Women can obtain medication assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric care, and educational or vocational counseling during outpatient treatment.
