Based in Cheektowaga, New York, Horizon Health Services’ Union Losson Counseling Center is a behavioral health center for clients of all ages. As a nonprofit, they provide hope and healing for individuals of all ages and their families struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Founded in 1975, they’re one of the largest outpatient mental health and addiction treatment providers in Western New York. At this particular location, clients can access combined mental health and addiction treatment, including alcohol support. Psychiatry and support coordination are also available here.
As for what their addiction treatment involves, this will of course vary depending on individuals’ needs and preferences. However, clients can expect a mixture of individual, group, and family counseling. The therapeutic styles uses here include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
