Along with traditional counseling and addiction education, this program incorporates the 12 step practices of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. You’re encouraged to attend meetings as this can help strengthen your support network.
They track progress and adjust care accordingly through assessment for trauma, depression and other symptoms as you heal. The program generally lasts for 90 days and includes tailored discharge planning and case management. Your case manager can link you to community services that support lasting healing as you move forward. This may include affordable housing support, job placement and medical care among others.
