Watts Health House of Uhuru, located in Los Angeles, California, provides alcohol and drug rehab services, senior citizen services, and welfare to work services to individuals living in the South Central Los Angeles area. The residential treatment program is an addiction treatment program that offers traditional mental health therapy, group therapy, psychoeducational classes, relapse prevention services, and skills building classes. Clients work closely with staff to identify unmet needs so they can be placed into the right community programs that will allow them to more readily succeed upon discharge from residential treatment.
The outpatient program provides services to help senior citizens, and adults who need support obtaining employment and rebuilding their lives. Clients may receive additional training, mentorship, and education in order to help them gain access to better jobs and opportunities.
