Their Park Street Program is a residential program that supports families and adolescent males aged 12 to 17 who are exhibiting sexually harming behavior. One of their recovery homes is located in Rutland, Vermont.
While living in this facility, individuals will be supported by a variety of counseling supports, psychiatric consultations, assessments, and other services that will help them lead a healthier lifestyle.
To start this program, you’ll need to be referred through a youth support agency such as the Agency of Education, the Department of Mental Health, or the Department for Children and Families
There is a dedicated substance use recovery program that operates through the Howard Center. Within this program, you’ll be supported through counseling services, therapy, addiction education, and even housing support.
While participating in the Park Street Program, you’ll be able to tap into these substance use supports as well.
The Park Street Program is highly structured, but it blends with supportive, judgement free care into the programming. There’s a big focus on reintegration and you’ll have access to different services that will make your transition back into your life seamless and one that equips you with the skills you need for success. For example, adolescent males are supported through educational programming because of the partnership with the Fay Honey Knopp Memorial School.
