About Hower Lodge – Lake Arrowhead
Hower Lodge is a drug rehab facility in Lake Arrowhead, California. The center offers treatment for substance use disorder, alcohol use disorder, chemical dependency, and other mental and behavioral health disorders. Hower Lodge provides medical detox, case management, dual diagnosis, 12-Step programs, residential inpatient treatment, and aftercare for adults.
Hower Lodge offers individualized detox programs for individual or polyabuse programs. The center can provide both medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and holistic treatment for physical and mental rehabilitation. Clients share semi-private rooms with a roommate in a forested environment. Staff are available 24/7.
Inpatient clients receive residential care for approximately 30 days. Hower Lodge features a variety of therapies, including holistic therapy, adventure therapy, family therapy, group and individual counseling and peer support, life-skills development, art therapy, meditation and yoga, and relapse-prevention education. Approaches are based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic experiencing (SE), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Clients can also participate in weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and 12-Step programs to address physical and emotional trauma.
Upon completion of inpatient treatment, clients transition into sober living through aftercare programs. Hower Lodge offers additional residential housing, follow-up visits with clinicians and case managers for career management and relationship development, individual and group counseling, peer support, and relapse-prevention strategies. Clients are encouraged to practice mindfulness and emotional wellness techniques. Referrals may be made to outside facilities for specialized treatment.
