About Humboldt Recovery Center – Eureka
The Humboldt Recovery Center, located in Eureka, California, offers residential alcohol and drug rehab services to adult men and women. Services include a structured, phased program, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and specialized services for Indigenous persons.
The three-phase, 90-day residential treatment program includes individual, group, and family therapy; classes in emotional management, life skills, and parenting; vocational training; MAT; regular drug testing; and relapse prevention. Approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches, along with social and recreational activities, support pursuing spiritual practices, and more.
Once a resident finishes the program, they have access to nine months of aftercare services that include ongoing support groups, housing and employment support, connections to 12-step and other recovery programs, and referrals to social services and community resources.
Humbolt Recovery Center is a not-for-profit organization and may accept a variety of insurance plans, such as Medi-Cal, Humana, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, and more.
