About Insight Human Services – Winston-Salem

Insight Human Services has a clinic in Winston Salem, North Carolina. They focus on several outpatient options for adults and teens, and their services are available in English and Spanish. Medication assisted treatment is also available with most programs. Other Insight Human Services centers outside of Winston Salem offer residential care and transitional care for adults and pregnant women.

The outpatient program ranges from day treatment to intensive outpatient programs. Depending on the acuity of your addiction, you might need to attend the Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment, which takes place every weekday in group and individual settings. Otherwise, the intensive outpatient program meets three times per week. Both offer motivational interviews, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychiatric care to treat any underlying conditions you might have.

Medication assisted treatment is also available if you’re having trouble with withdrawal and relapses. You can receive meds in a long term detox program, if needed. The program is accredited by CARF, and clinicians are trained to make sure you don’t overdose or become dependent on illegal drugs while you’re recovering.
