Intensive Treatment Modalities Group is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Daytona Beach Florida. They offer treatment to juveniles who suffer from substance use disorder. They also provide treatment to juveniles who struggle with addiction and sexual behavior problems. They are an outpatient facility.
Your child will receive a full assessment upon arrival to determine what therapeutic method is best for them. The assessment can last from 4 to 6 hours. This center specializes in treating both adult and juvenile sex offenders as well as teens with addiction issues. They provide a psychosexual exam as well which is provided by a trained psychiatrist who is an expert in the subject.
Kids who participate in the program will receive both group and individual therapy. The staff uses cognitive behavioral therapy which teaches kids to think in a more realistic, less negative manner in order to change their behavior. They also use Positive Psychology which teaches people to focus on functioning at their highest level in all areas of life.
They offer family therapy which helps parents and siblings understand their child’s issues with substances and sexuality. Family members often feel more comfortable discussing delicate family issues when there is an objective person such as a therapist present.
