About Intercept Associates – Federal Way
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) meets for eight to nine months. Clients can choose the day program or evening program. Those who have a DUI or who are a part of a deferred prosecution program must participate for two years. Clients meet with the support group twice per week. They must also maintain substance abstinence and regularly submit to random drug testing.
The outpatient program offers treatment for individuals who have a less severe drinking problem and require less intensive treatment that the IOP offers. Clients are required to maintain substance abstinence and regularly participate in drug testing. The emphasis of this program is on group support and implementing a sober lifestyle. Educational classes, relapse-prevention classes, and individual counseling services are provided.
Intercept Associates can be contacted to discuss insurance options and fees. Coverage may be available through providers such as ComPsych, Humana, Aetna, Cigna, and TRICARE. If individuals want to use insurance for any kind of treatment, it is important that they contact their provider prior to starting treatment because out of network benefits may vary.
