About Journey House – Bridgewater
Journey House has three sober living facilities based in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Two are for adult men, and one is for adult women. They provide a substance free environment for anyone who needs support on their recovery journey.
While staying at Journey House, they expect you to participate in AA and NA programs around the area. This is not only for their philosophy, but also for the sober community these groups create. Their house rules say that you should attend at least three 12 Step meetings every week.
You’re also expected to remain productive while staying with them. You can do this by participating in work, education, or attending an outpatient addiction program.
Journey House helps support sober socializing with experiential learning opportunities, where you practice healthy coping mechanisms and develop skills needed for long term sobriety. They also facilitate programs, counseling sessions, and provide resources to help people in recovery connect with others on the same journey.
