About KeyStone Center – Brookhaven
Keystone Center is a drug and alcohol rehab located in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania. They treat people who have substance use disorder (SUD) and alcohol use disorder. They are an outpatient facility that treats adolescents and adults.
They accept most major forms of insurance. They take self pay and offer a sliding scale for people without insurance. They operate a health line that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They have an open access system. You will not need an appointment when you come in for your initial assessment.
They offer a partial hospitalization program where clients will come in all day for treatment and go home at night for two or three weeks. This is perfect for people who need a high level of care but cannot leave home long enough to attend residential care.
If you do not need full-time care then they have an intensive outpatient program in which you will come in several times a week for several hours a day for six weeks. The therapy consists of group sessions in which you will discuss the changes you need to make in order to live a drug-free life.
The therapists here believe that addiction is a complex biopsychosocial disease so they take a holistic approach to treatment. Treatment will include education about the way substances affect your body and your ability to make choices. You will learn how to identify the kinds of situations that trigger you.
You will have drug and alcohol refusal training as well as assertiveness training. You will also learn how to manage stress and prevent relapse.
They have many specialized treatment programs. If you have been convicted of a DUI then you can take an eight week alcohol education class here. They offer parenting classes as well. They have an LGBTQIA-affirming group for people in the community who suffer from SUD.
