About Keystone Counseling – Brandon
Keystone is a Christian centered drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Brandon, Florida. They treat adults for substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder. They also treat opioid use disorder. They treat people who have been diagnosed with substance issues and mental health issues at the same time.
The outpatient progam offers both group and individual therapy. The amount of therapy you will need will be determined by an assessment session in which you will be asked many questions about your use of substances. You will also be given a drug test. Most therapy sessions will last an hour to an hour and a half. They offer gender and age specific group sessions as people often feel more comfortable sharing their experiences with people from a background similar to their own.
Therapy at this facility uses the 12 step model as a base. However, they follow their own Keystone Model to treat their clients. The model they used is based on spirituality. Once treatment is done, they offer aftercare services. This may include references to mental health professionals and sober living facilities. It may also include references to community 12 step meetings.
