About Keystone Halls – Fort Lauderdale
Keystone Halls offers drug and alcohol addiction treatment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The inpatient recovery atmosphere is supported by a non-profit agency geared to helping adults recovering from dependency on drugs and alcohol. They offer stable transitional housing within a supported group environment in an area that’s close to downtown Fort Lauderdale, public transportation, support meetings and Social Services offices.
They’ve served the people of South Florida since 1998 and have expanded their services to include a relationship with the Veterans Administration to help serve retired military personnel who struggled with drugs and alcohol. Admission begins with a phone call to the case manager on duty who can arrange for your tour of the facility and the program. The case manager assesses your situation and then creates a plan for recovery and transition.
You also have access to Social Services help, public transportation, and stress reducing strategies to maintain a stable living environment. A large component of the program is regular meetings throughout the week to help people get acquainted with each other and create support groups. Group meetings also include information on relapse prevention, life skills, and a spaghetti dinner once a week. The program requires a $150 deposit and cost residents $150 per week. Qualifying people may receive help with rent, food, and basic hygiene supplies.
