About Kingdom Pathways – Saint Paul
Many people struggling with substance use also grapple with financial or housing insecurity. Kingdom Pathways in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is a Christian nonprofit that offers a broad spectrum of services to help people overcome some of life’s most daunting challenges, including homelessness and addiction.
Kingdom Pathways provides shelter for those experiencing homelessness, but they do far more than that as well. They have a robust outpatient addiction treatment program and mental health treatment, as well as focused case management. Each client creates an Action Plan for Independence and case managers meet with them weekly to discuss their progress.

Groups have different topics and you can choose one or more that is relevant to you. Group focuses include anger management, criminal and addictive thinking, support network development, shame, and more.
The organization also offers monthly classes on Hep C and HIV, and can support people who have co occurring mental health and addiction issues.
Staff monitor people staying at the shelter 24/7 and require clients to maintain sobriety as a condition of their stay. They perform urinalysis tests every three days and breathalyzers every day. Kingdom Pathways also has recreational activities like bowling, going to fairs, amusement parks, softball games, and more.
Clients have had mixed experiences, so be sure to research the facility fully before committing to treatment.
