About Lahey Health Behavioral Services – Methadone Program – Danvers
Lahey Health Behavioral Services – Methadone Program is now a part of Beth Israel Lahey Health after a merger in 2019. This clinic in Deavers, Massachusetts, is called the Danvers Treatment Center and serves adults. If you are struggling with drug, alcohol or opiate use, you’ll be supported by addiction treatment, detox support and clinical stabilization services at this location.
At the Danvers Treatment Center, you’ll also have access to their methadone program. This program uses FDA approved medications including methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone) and Vivitrol to help you manage ongoing cravings and early withdrawal symptoms.
If you’re struggling with alcohol or opioid use, their medically monitored detox program is a supportive and structured place to start your recovery. This detox program lasts anywhere from four to six days.
You’ll be supported with round the clock medical care, allowing you to safely work through the early stages of detox. Through medication assistance, healthcare providers will help you manage your withdrawal symptoms so that your body can reach a point of stabilization. From there you can transition to their outpatient or inpatient treatment program.
The outpatient, detox, and clinical stabilization services are tailored to meet your recovery needs. There are individualized treatment plans that have a strong focus on addiction education and skills development. There’s also individual case management to help you receive appropriate care that addresses the specific struggles you’re facing.
One of the benefits of seeking care here is that you’ll have access to recovery support through the Beth Israel Lahey Health network. There’s a strong focus on providing clinical care that’s rooted in evidence based practices. This approach to recovery can be especially helpful for individuals who are starting their recovery and want care that treats addiction from a medical standpoint.
