About Lakes Region Mental Health Center – Plymouth
Formerly known as Genesis Behavioral Health, this facility rebranded to Lakes Region Mental Health Center back in 2018. However, this location was absorbed into their location on Beacon Street in Laconia, New Hampshire, and no longer holds an address in Grafton County. This location specialized in providing adult clients with integrated and comprehensive mental health support, including addiction treatment for those who needed it.
Crisis response and acute treatment services were available here 24/7, and were available to anyone in urgent need of mental or behavioral support at a crisis level. Individuals could access support in person or via telehealth over the phone.
When things got especially intense and severe, this service was here to connect you with a mental health or addiction professional for immediate support. Even without this location though you can still get that level of care at their Laconia facility.
Short and long-term support was available here for individuals struggling with mental or behavioral health issues, including addiction and substance abuse. Length and treatment period were determined by individuals’ circumstances, with services prescribed accordingly.
Clients could access case management services to help them find stable housing, access food resources and receive specialized substance abuse support, transport help, primary care referrals, and more.
Medication management and refills were also available here, and typically involved nursing assessments and follow-up meetings to ensure your medical needs were being met in tandem with other clinical services you may have been receiving. Refills were easily accessible by making a quick phone call.
Long-term counseling services were also available and were offered alongside comprehensive mental health evaluations.
