Lexington County Mental Health also provides a targeted dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) treatment program for those with mental health or substance use disorders. The program lasts for a year and includes skill groups, weekly therapy sessions and additional support.
The clinic also offers support from certified peer support specialists. These individuals have lived experience with recovery from mental illness and/or substance use. The peers conduct support group meetings and can meet with you one on one.
