About Life Challenge – Phoenix
Life Challenge is a community-oriented behavioral healthcare program in Phoenix, Arizona. By believing that everyone has the capacity to learn and change, they deliver comprehensive care services to adult clients with developmental disabilities.
In addition to their primary care services, Life Challenge has several programs available to train and support caregivers. They provide their programs in home and community settings. Services are provided on an outpatient basis.
The outpatient program is a day treatment program, meaning clients attend treatment regularly without living at a treatment facility. These services are available both at home and in the community to better accommodate those who cannot travel. Outpatient care is generally not appropriate for clients with severe symptoms or who are in crisis.
Life Challenge’s day program combines therapeutic activities with social and recreational events. Together, these things serve to teach clients critical life skills that will help them function independently and lead more fulfilling lives. Services are available Monday through Friday.
Life Challenge’s respite services help caregivers of clients connect with their peers and further develop their skills. The respite program also provides social events.
When clients are considering different treatment and support programs, they should remember that their insurance in network and out of network benefits can vary. Clients should always confirm coverage with their insurance company before enrolling in a program.
