Outpatient substance recovery in this facility is geared towards helping you achieve lasting abstinence by building solid coping skills and sober support networks. They offer both intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and general outpatient care (OP) alongside specialized relapse prevention programs.
You’ll work with the care team to create a personalized care plan following a thorough intake assessment. This ensures recovery is tailored to your unique goals and needs. Assessment also helps the care team determine the appropriate level of care suitable for your unique condition. This may either be OP or IOP. They’ll provide referrals if your assessment indicates the need for high-intensity inpatient residential care or detox.
Outpatient therapy here takes place primarily in a group format. Individual sessions are also provided as necessary alongside family therapy to create a positive family dynamic at home. The therapy group incorporates proven methods like dialectical behavioral techniques to foster emotional regulations as you build coping strategies to prevent relapse.
You’ll learn about the neurobiology and physiology of addiction, its spiritual elements and relapse warning signs alongside relapse prevention planning. You’ll also learn effective communication, mindfulness & relationship building and stress and distress tolerance. The group also covers 12 steps & alternative recovery support systems, the effects of substance use on family and much more. These are potent tools for achieving sobriety and lasting abstinence.
