About LifeStream – Eustis
LifeStream is a behavioral health agency that provides a variety of services to children, adolescents, and adults in Central Florida. They serve the Lake, Citrus and Sumter County communities. Their Eustis outpatient location offers mental health and substance use programs including medication management.
Their substance abuse program is called Crossroads. They offer intervention and assessment for adults as well as family, group and individual counseling. You’ll work with your counselor to develop treatment and recovery goals.
One of their main programs is called Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities. This program is for adults in the justice system. This program ranges from a single four-hour session to a 12 week program. The goal of this program is to help you avoid re-offending.
LifeStream accepts most major health insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid. I like that they will bill your insurance on your behalf. That’s one less thing for you to worry about. You may also be eligible for financial assistance depending on your income and family size.
There are some previous clients who are positive, saying the detox and counseling services are excellent. Some previous clients have concerns about cleanliness and specific staff behavior.
