About Lokahi Treatment Centers – Kailua-Kona
Lokahi Treatment Center has five locations throughout Hawaii. They offer dual diagnosis substance abuse and mental health services and prevention services for clients of all ages. The CARF accredited facility in Kailua Kona focuses on meeting the needs of rural communities who need it the most. Their structured outpatient programs focus on personal responsibility, dignity and self esteem.
They offer mental health and substance use assessments including anger management assessments. Their outpatient treatments include gender specific and mixed groups, individual, couples and family counseling, medication management and prevention programs. They also have domestic violence intervention classes and psychiatric evaluations.
I like that they have many partner agencies that they work closely with. These include centers that work to end homelessness, parenting and family centers, supplemental food programs and pantries and transitional and supportive housing services. Having established partnerships means that you and your loved ones can get all the services you need. Staff can help coordinate referrals and connections to these partners.
