If you’re in crisis, you’ll typically be in treatment within 24 hours of the initial assessment. The intake is with a nurse, and they’ll help you determine what type of care would be best. You’ll go through an inpatient medical detox if appropriate that takes about three to seven days.
There’s a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that meets five days a week and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that’s three to five times per week for a few hours a day. They also offer a specialized track if you have chronic pain with medication dependency. With this track, you’ll use yoga to learn how to live with chronic pain without the use of substances. You’ll also get acupressure and acupuncture.
In all the programs, you’ll focus on building your support network while using a holistic treatment approach. They emphasize the body, mind, and spirit and offer recreational therapy, exercise, and team building exercises. You’ll also have a chaplain available if you need one.
They treat most addictions such as alcohol, prescription drugs, opiates, and benzodiazepines. They offer outpatient only treatment for addictions to inhalants, marijuana, and stimulants. In both the inpatient and outpatient programs you’ll learn the 12 Step approach. You’ll learn to deal with anger and stress while acquiring better coping skills, all of which help you maintain sobriety after recovery.
