About Lowell Community Health Center – Lowell
Lowell Community Health Center is located in Lowell, Massachusetts. This center offers primary care services and other medical health and wellness support to residents who live within the community. Going beyond just providing accessible medical care, they also have specialty programs if you or a loved one is struggling with substance use.
You don’t have to be a patient at this community health center to benefit from their addiction treatment services either. Care is offered in an outpatient setting, and you won’t be denied care because of an inability to pay or because you don’t have insurance. They treat all members of the community regardless of their immigration status as well.
There is an opioid recovery program here that can provide you with medication assisted treatment (MAT) using FDA approved medications like Suboxone or Vivitrol. They also work with recovery coaches and have access to support groups to help you address your substance use struggles. If you are a patient here, these recovery services can be integrated into your primary health care as well.
The Lowell Community Health Center offers what they call their Overdose Prevention Pass Program. Through this program, you and your loved ones can get the life-saving medication naloxone. Addiction education is also provided to help combat overdoses in the community.
