LSS – Lutheran Social Services – Preble House is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They provide residential treatment for adults who have substance use disorders. They also treat people who struggle with mental health issues and addiction issues at the same time.
Preble is a small facility that only houses eight residents at a time. They are a long term program, and most people are here for one year or so. Their main goal is to help people assimilate themselves back into society after having mental health problems or drug issues.
You will have a bed and three meals a day here. The staff provides group therapy to the residents. Residents will be treated with various forms of behavioral therapy. This type of therapy is designed to get you to think differently in order to behave differently. The staff can also administer the medication that you need.
They will teach you life skills. You will have vocational training and learn how to get and keep a job. They teach clients how to manage a budget. You’ll be able to participate in leisure activities as well.
