About Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska – Fremont
Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska in Fremont, Nebraska, specializes in offering healthcare and support services for families, parents and kids. While this center is specifically for family services, clients here can access behavioral health services in the garden level of the same building.
As part of the same facility, individuals and families can access behavioral health and addiction treatment services at this location. These are available through outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs).
When it comes to standard outpatient treatment, clients can expect to engage in up to nine hours of treatment per week, consisting of group and individual therapy sessions, available either during the day or in the evenings. This program typically takes place over 12 weeks.
Comparatively, IOP is designed for adults aged 19 and older. Treatment in this program is more in-depth than standard outpatient, with participants expected to commit to three-hour long group sessions three days per week. They’ll also engage in at least one family or individual therapy session each week. All of this amounts to a minimum of 10 hours per week of treatment, taking place over six to eight weeks. As with standard outpatient care, sessions are available in the day and in the evenings for maximum flexibility. It’s also worth noting that IOP services are in-person only.
MAT services are also available. These combine medication, behavioral therapy and peer support for a holistic approach to addiction recovery. Individuals who are interested in MAT will be evaluated by the center’s nurses to assess their eligibility. MAT can be used to treat addiction to a range of substances including heroin, opioids, alcohol, tobacco and fentanyl.
