The organization this facility is part of has a presence in all 87 of Minnesota’s counties, as is one of the state’s largest nonprofit social service organizations. Due to their generous funding and scale, they’re able to support one in every 65 people in Minnesota through their range of services. Spirituality plays a part in their principles, and they aim to express Christ’s love through services that inspire hope, change lives, and help strengthen communities.
Part of their behavioral service offering includes addiction treatment and drug rehab support. Treatment is customized to best meet client needs, and includes a thorough assessment to establish where clients are at in their recovery journey.
From here, the team aims to help clients regain control and establish healthy alternatives and coping skills while helping them by developing a long-term recovery plan. These often include individual, group and family therapy. Counseling and support is also available to clients’ family members and loved ones. Addiction education is also provided as part of treatment, as well as through their Substance Abuse Violation Education (SAVE) program.
SAVE is available to adults, and features educational and self-assessment tools related to addition and substance misuse. Meanwhile, their Yield course covers the effects and risks of drugs like alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. This course is designed for teens, though parents and family are also encouraged to get stuck in, too.
