About Madeline Centre – Lynchburg
The Madeline Centre in Lynchburg, Virginia, provides services to children, adults and families who are struggling with behavioral health and substance use disorders. Their mission is to help families heal and reconnect. Their location in Lynchburg offers nearby access to Blackwater Creek Trail, Lynchburg Riverwalk Trail, and Liberty Mountain Trail, where you can hike and self-reflect on your recovery.
The road to recovery can feel overwhelming and challenging in the beginning when you are lacking support or guidance. A Madeline Center counselor will work with you to develop coping skills, manage stress and develop an individualized treatment plan for you to work on throughout the duration of outpatient. A case manager will provide ongoing support, help you develop a recovery plan and monitor you throughout the time you’re in treatment. They will help hold you accountable and make sure you are getting the services you need.
Treatment services at The Madeline Center include medication assisted therapy. They have partnered with a local doctor to offer buprenorphine based treatment that complements their other behavioral treatment services.
To address family concerns during recovery they offer an Empower Through Positive Parenting course. This can help you repair your relationship with your child/children and help strengthen your parenting skills. It’s eight weeks long and is also available to individuals who are court ordered. This program can help build self-awareness and provide you with tools on how to handle tantrums and enhance your communication skills.
