About Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinic – Mandeville
Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) offers substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment services. These services are offered through the Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinic on Wilkinson Street in Mandeville, Louisiana. This location has outpatient services Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are also some evening groups available specifically for people receiving treatment for addictions. You can also get medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use and alcohol use disorder.
The clinic serves people even if they’re unable to pay. They do accept insurance but if you’re uninsured, they have a sliding fee scale. Pregnant women and intravenous drug users are prioritized when seeking addiction services.
If you or a loved one is at risk of overdose due to opioids then you can get Narcan through the clinic. You can reverse the effects of an overdose of heroin or opioid painkillers with Narcan. Having Narcan on hand can save someone’s life, and you don’t have to worry about someone using it to get high. It’s also easy to administer because it comes in a nasal spray.
The clinic offers mental health services at this location for co-occurring mental health disorders related to trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or other mental health challenges. After an assessment, the clinician will determine whether you need medication management.
There are several types of services available for mental health treatment including individual, group, and family therapy. A case manager will help coordinate your services related to your goals and treatment plan. They also offer peer support services so you can get help from others who have been in your position.
The addiction treatment services available include an intensive outpatient program (IOP). The IOP includes group, family, and individual therapy as well as case management and peer support services. The FPHSA can partner with you to get the services you need to regain your sobriety.
