About Margaret A. Stutzman rehabilitation – Buffalo
Stutzman Addiction Treatment Center (SATC) is a drug and alcohol rehab in Buffalo, New York. They serve adult women with onsite support from clinical and medical staff. The program focuses on trauma therapy to tackle underlying health conditions.
The center serves up to 33 women at a time. You’ll have access to support 24/7 and treatment plans last between two and six weeks.
Treatment at SATC centers on trauma care, which can trigger your cravings. You’ll work with your personal care team to draw up an individual treatment plan. This can include individual and group therapy, AA and NA group meetings, education programs, and family support. If you have a gambling addiction, they can also help with that. They want you to focus on learning coping skills so you’ll have healthier responses to stress when you return to your daily lives.
SATC has a unique program that allows moms with young (preschool aged) children to live together on campus during treatment. While you’re in your daily programs, your children attend a daycare center. You’re reunited at the end of each day, and parents can receive support in cultivating parenting skills and a healthy relationship with their children.
Clients leaving the program aren’t sent off on their own. Before discharge, your care team helps you prepare by connecting you with community resources to help you maintain long term recovery.
