About Maryhaven Mt. Gilead – Mount Gilead
MAT provides FDA-approved medications in combination with mental health counseling to address the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of addiction. Clients receive medications that help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, thus increasing the likelihood of successful detoxification. Individual counseling and group counseling are provided.
The intensive outpatient program generally meets three days per week for three hours at a time. Individual counseling, group counseling, and peer support services are provided.
The outpatient program offers school-based prevention services, behavioral health support for pregnant women and new mothers, screening services, underage intervention services, and addiction treatment. Screening for gambling addiction is also available.
Maryhaven Mt. Gilead accepts most insurance plans, including Amerigroup, Magellan, ComPsych, Aetna, and Medicaid. No one will be turned away due to their inability to pay. If a person wants to use insurance, they are encouraged to contact their insurance carrier to learn more about their coverage because out of network benefits may vary.
