About Marylin Recovery Ctr – Los Angeles
Royal Palms is part of Social Model Recovery Systems that treats substance use and mental health issues in Los Angeles, California. This program caters to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. They are CARF accredited and licensed and certified by the state’s Department of Health Care Services.
At Royal Palms, they meet you wherever you are in your addiction process. They focus on giving you autonomy and responsibility over your recovery. You’ll attend mandatory daily group meetings and weekly individual sessions led by certified substance abuse counselors. You’ll also have case management sessions that help you identify goals and assist you with healthy changes. Some services offered include life skills education, anger management, process groups, family reunification, and job training.
A crucial aspect of their approach is utilizing social and recreational activities. These promote recovery in a fun way and introduce you to healthier concepts, like servicing your community. You’ll attend 12 Step meetings at the facility and in the community. Your family and significant others will have scheduled visits, and you’ll have access to accommodations like medical services. The goal is to treat your addiction, prevent relapse, and help you integrate back into society.
