About Mayo Clinic Health System Faribault — Fountain Centers – Faribault
Mayo Clinic Health System Faribault — Fountain Centers serves adults and their families battling substance use problems in Faribault, Minnesota. Their program is built on the principles of respect, dignity, and current scientific research. Here, patients can safely discuss their substance use issues and the circumstances surrounding them in a supportive outpatient environment.
During outpatient treatment, patients acquire the abilities and methods required to succeed in the community at work and at home. To guarantee that they address the needs and concerns that are most important to the patients, treatment plans are customized and developed in collaboration with the patients. Their treatment programs are based on the traditions of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational enhancement with a focus on relapse prevention skills education.
They encourage 12 step recovery and incorporate its tenets into their therapeutic offerings. Every week, a volunteer with training leads their recovery support groups. Although a referral from one of the treatment programs offered by the center is not required, group participants usually come from those programs. Participation is advised for at least a year.
The goal of their employees is to support individuals in leading active healthy lives. Everything they do is based on their core value which is that the patient’s needs come first. Anyone coming out of drug abuse is welcome to join their relapse group. Every meeting has a staff member in attendance to offer guidance and assistance.
They provide phone assistance for recovery. Participants in our residential or extended care programs are eligible for this service. After discharge, there is phone contact and continued support available. Clients can access this service at critical points in their recovery, including one week and one month after completing the program. They can also access it three, six, nine, and 12 months later.
